While the location is an undeniable perk, right near the bustling beach and vibrant dining scene, the rest felt more like a gamble than a sure bet. The breakfast was minimal-cereal and scrambled eggs barely packed the punch for a long day of exploring microbreweries nearby. The amenities were hit or miss; my room had decent air conditioning and a minibar, which was a lifesaver for quick refreshment. The shower left much to be desired, with lukewarm water and questionable drainage-definitely not my idea of relaxation after a day out! The attentive staff certainly made up for some of the shortcomings, though, providing friendly service that helped ease the discomfort. If you're a traveler in search of an excellent location and don't mind sacrificing some comfort, Mintaka might work. Just know that if you're used to more luxurious accommodations-like I am with OZ Hotel Luxury-this place may not quite hit the mark.
